1. Butter a rectangular baking tray on low edges. Preheat oven to 200 °.
2. Put the eggs and sugar in a large bowl and lay it in a boiling water pot, whip with a whisk until the mixture is homogeneous, remove the bowl from the heat and whisk until it is cold.
3. Sift the flour and mix thoroughly into the mixture, add a tablespoon of hot water and pour the mixture into the pan, bake for 10 -12 minutes until it has a pale yellow colour.
4. Meanwhile, place a sheet of baking paper on a damp tea towel and sprinkle with caster sugar, warm the jam in a small saucepan over low heat.
5. Turn over the pan on the baking paper and complete the edges with a knife, cover with hot jam, roll up the cake and let it cool. Serve it decorating the dish with fresh strawberries.
